Jamal, a 15-year-old high school sophomore, loved video games but never considered making one himself. After joining Tech-rise Foundation’s Game Development Bootcamp, he learned how to use Unity and C# to create a 2D platformer. His project was showcased at a local youth tech expo, earning him a summer internship with an indie game studio. Today, Jamal is mentoring other teens at Tech-rise.
