The Foundation Begins
Key Milestone: Tech-rise Foundation is officially launched with a mission to bridge the digital divide for youth and teens.
Programs Launched:
Web Development Bootcamp (first cohort)
Digital Skills 101 (virtual series during COVID)
Events:
Tech for Teens Virtual Summit – over 150 participants from 3 regions
Donations:
$1,500 raised from community backers and a local nonprofit grant

Building Momentum
Key Milestone: Expanded reach to 6 schools across 2 cities

Cybersecurity Pathways
Intro to AI & Machine Learning
Events:
Teen Tech Week (in partnership with public libraries)
Code & Create Hackathon – 50+ teen projects submitted

$1,000 from individual donors, tech partners, and a youth innovation grant

Details: A one-day immersive experience with workshops, live coding sessions, guest speakers, and a tech career fair. Open to all Tech-rise alumni, mentors, and new students.Goals for 2025:
Launch a dedicated scholarship fund for underrepresented youth in tech
